Goats are amazing and incredible creatures. People use them for dairy, meat, and fiber. And others, for friendship. So on this poll, if you have a goat, tell me what you do with it. Even if you don’t have one now, but thinking about it in the future, tell me what you are gonna have them for.

I am new to goats. We just brought home our first three doelings last Monday. I got them to milk and to help control the blackberries in our field....but I have to admit they are a lot of fun and are turning into pets.

Here they are exploring the backyard. (The pigs are photobombing in the background.)

My two girls are just plain old pets. They keep me on my toes, though. I've wanted a goat since I was probably 3 or 4 years old. When my husband found out, he thought they would make the perfect milestone birthday gift. Cocoa and Ivy are my baby girls!
