Guadeloupe River is in flash flood stage right now. It went from a dry riverbed to raging flood. Facebook is covered with videos.

Praying there are no deaths.

4 hours.... WOW....

It went up anywhere from 24" to 36" in a span of 45 minutes at 3 a.m.

As of right now, 13 dead and 23 little girls from a camp missing. Lots more missing.

My heart is breaking.

We need to advocate for gauges and sirens to be installed at camping areas similar to Hawaii tsunami alert system. The gauges exist and someone should be able to write the code. Rivers went from ~4’ to 34’ in an hour or so. Time to run if it wasn’t middle of night.
So sad so many people are dead or missing.
