Well, I've never planted pumpkins, wanted to but never got around to it. I harvested my first pumpkin last week - and I still haven't planted pumpkins  . And by the looks of things the old ram pen has a pumpkin almost ready to harvest and either some kind of squash or more pumpkins. Those sheep of mine are talented gardeners!

I planted pumpkins this year, but so did my chickens!

Here's one of the volunteers. It gave me two pumpkins before dying. Big one is inside, chickens loved the little one.

And there's at least eight more pumpkin fruits...

Anybody who has any psychology training, or who likes to think they have a good understanding of it, or who has watched a lot of Opra & Dr Phil..... answer me this:
Why; when I do this whole house deep clean; do I always start with an area that either no one cares about OR that no one will ever see???
Plenty of house that we will be sharing when they visit... I spend almost all of this afternoon cleaning the storage room where the litter boxes are.
DID find a better bed side table for the guest room, and DID find a space to pull the treadmill out of storage & put it to use, and LOVE that this has been on the list for a long time and is now checked off. But Who Cares?
The last 2 times I've done this I've started with the utility room...?

Procrastination? Yeah, we always work on what may have been needed/planned "eventually". Sometimes it's to delay the "real" job without feeling nothing was done. 🤷. I often find myself outside when I needed to be inside, doing a job I really didn't want to tackle.

You start with the utility room because it is important to YOU. You probably clean the other parts of the house as general cleaning, but not so much in the utility room. So that’s your ignored spot, in your mind the worst of the worst. Therefore it must be cleaned first.
