My entertainment this morning.
He'll be at this for HOURS. Long after the 'prey' is gone

This is what he's after..... she does not appear to be concerned

HA - you wanna look in my filing cabinet?? It's very scary sometimes I even have to push stuff down to close a drawer.
Filing cabinet?

Seriously, I finally caught up on most of my filing, in marked folders, in the filing cabinet (2 drawer), A YEAR AGO.

This morning I was given a new 'bee' to buzz around in my head for a few days.
The woman who does all the admin for my plant came over when she clocked in & told me that she has taken a position at our other site next door. She said that they asked if she knew of anyone who could replace her & she told them couldn't think of anyone but me.

I don't know anything about it yet but the pros & cons are already stampeding around in my head.
I don't know what it pays.
I don't really even know what the responsibilities are other than purchasing, shipping & inventory.

Pros:
Mon - Fri, Days, AC office.

Cons:
Working very closely with the plant Mgr (sneaky weasely guy)
Lose all my built-in exercise. Back to sitting at a desk.
It's new & therefore scary to me

Also, I've worked really hard to get good at what I'm doing (comfortable & secure)

It's not even posted yet.... but it's going to rattle around in my head for the next few days.

Pray about it.

Consider also that as you get older the physical aspects of your job will get harder. There's no way I could do the job I had 25 years ago.

I was over shipping and receiving for a machine shop once. It was interesting and kept me busy.
My last job was purchasing, inventory, and environmental quality for a garbage company.

If your concern is the sneaky weasel, then ask that lady if she had problems with him, if so, how did she handle it?
Would she be training you, for how long?
Would he be your boss?
Who does he answer to?
People like him use their position over others to make themselves feel big and powerful. In reality, he is a sniveling weakling. Get your bluff in.
