I'm a big believer that everything passes through, and we go as natural as we can. I might come to a place in the future that I change my mind, but for now we are choosing to not vaccinate our does, but we will vaccinate the kids that we plan to sell.

No, we don't vaccinate for CD & T either. I chose not to before the birth, so I know I will need to do 2 rounds with the kids, but all the info I find is only for those that have giving it before birth. -K

I don't know if this will help. We had a doe that was 1/2 ND, 1/4 Nubian, 1/4 Lamancha. She looked just like a mini Lamancha. She was bred to a ND buck and the baby looked like a larger ND (but then again the doeling was 3/4 ND and only 1/8 each Lamancha/Nubian). -K

Can a large hawk take a new ND goat? My bucklings are 2 days old (probably 2.5 lbs each). We noticed a large hawk circling over head for awhile today. Should I be concerned? They are with their mama and she is pretty protective of them. Thanks -K

I did, except that instead of the powder I got 1000 IU gel caps from local health food store and cut them open and squirted it onto her grain once a day. Worked great.
