My goodness, was just marvelling over the four babies on another thread, and here you come with six. That doe could have her own reality tv show! How will she ever feed six, poor girl will be nursing non stop. Can't wait to see pics.
Ooohhhh she's pretty! My ND doe is just black and white, also just a year old and the sweetest little thing ever. She is not registered and I paid $250 for her, just waiting for my little PB buck to "man up" and breed her. I also have a registered ND doe reserved, waiting on her to kid and...
Well, I wasn't thinking of it as mocking exactly, :-), just commiserating with you all on your yucky weather. Not often we are better off and can brag on it.
Gee, and here in Canada, at least the part I'm in (Nova Scotia) we're having one of the mildest winters ever. Have only had a few snowstorms, only had the driveway plowed twice, and very little shoveling otherwise. I'm hoping for really bad weather next week cause I'm going to Jamaica with the...

I think these babies are the cutest I've ever seen!! and your buck is gorgeous, you must be so pleased. When is your other doe due? Is she the same colour as the mom of these ones? Have fun tomorrow.
Just re the two different sires, my Pygora doe had two girls last year, obviously different sires, one very ND and one very Nubian looking. Both very sweet, so it can happen
I kinda like building stuff by myself, with the help of my DIY books, that way no one to second guess you or say "wouldn't it be better to do it this way?". Of course, I do appreciate DH when it comes time to lift heavy stuff :-) Good luck, whatever you build will be fine with the goats you...
Are you in any way "handy" cause I think you could build one for the $140 that would be a bit bigger and sturdier. This one doesn't look all that sturdy and you know they will be standing on it.
Sending good thoughts your way for Spotz and her baby, so sorry you lost one. When you've calmed down and have a chance, do hope you will be up to giving us details, such as how the labour progressed, when and why you decided she needed the vet, how the babies were positioned etc. I have a...
