Will this house work?

Been trying to figure out how to build a descent sized goat house for 2 Nigerians, this is $140 (the large one) I was going to build one a little larger but It would cost me more for the material than this. So what do you guys think? I would add a door and beef it up some and a vent (that I have)

requested the dimensions, the ad says it if for a rottweiler sized dog. I am getting a doe and one of her does after she kids, then it will be another year or before one of them kids for me and they will be sold. By then I can expand it.

What kind of weather do you have? There is no way hay and water can be in there. Plus you really couldn't lock them in there at night. What is your whole setup going to be like?

Snow, mountains. I will have a 12x25 pen, I want to shut them in about 8pm just in case a coyote tries to brave my dogs, the roof on this is hinged and lifts so I can put in hay at night and clean it. I read some people here uses dog-loos I thought this would be a step a above?

Are you in any way "handy" cause I think you could build one for the $140 that would be a bit bigger and sturdier. This one doesn't look all that sturdy and you know they will be standing on it.

yeah, just hoping not to do it...I already have to get the money together to build the milk/hay shed. It's me by my lonesome. Here is my little chicken coop (not finished in this pic)

Well pretty much talked myself out of this with your help...go back to my DIY of an 8x4x4. Yuck I hate building by myself, wish me luck.

This will ultimately be better. Good luck building it. Hopefully you can find a friend to help you.

I kinda like building stuff by myself, with the help of my DIY books, that way no one to second guess you or say "wouldn't it be better to do it this way?". Of course, I do appreciate DH when it comes time to lift heavy stuff Good luck, whatever you build will be fine with the goats you know. And, your coop is really cute.
