Wanted to give the garden a good drink of water today but I woke up with a stiff neck and if I turn my head wrong it screams at me so I have been being a bit lazy today with the exception of doing laundry.

Got to watch half of the grandson's first football game yesterday. They won 26-14.

My middle grandson made the football team. This is the second time he tried out and he's so excited to be able to play. He kept making hearts with his hands at us.

Thank goodness they got on top of them so fast. I just found out from my mom that the park fire was started by a guy whose car caught fire so he pushed it into a ravine and that's what caused it.

Well the is getting contained so no danger for us. It's been a long busy day for me. I'm tired

It gets a little hazy but not super smokey. I wish that the wind would die down and this heat could give way for cooler temps so that the fires might be a bit more controlled

I used my 2 biggest eggs to make a cake and it called for 3 eggs but I added 4 from 2 eggs.

The biggest egg is the first one that wasn't beige brown or white. It appears to be a gray- greenish- blue color. The smallest one is a greenish-olive color

I'm over the heat here. It's almost 11 pm and it's still 82 degrees

If I had to pay for water I would definitely get a seriously large water tank and have it filled just to help cut back on my bill. We have solar, HVAC and we're on a well. I installed an app for alerts to wildfires just to be a bit safer.

I live over 3 hours away from the coast and I'm not in the high country. What makes it suck more is the fact that I'm always worried about wildfire and some of the neighbors don't water their property so it's all dry and also they have propane tanks.

I'm over the Summer already. It's supposed to be 109 today and it's already 89 at 9:40 am.

I believe my crookneck was ripe for the picking.
