Hmm.. im not so sure :hu . What did you feed your rabbit? I heared that some wood like pine, redwood, and cherry tree can be bad for your rabbit. Someone also told me that lettuce can lead to a gas build-up causing enteritis and sudden death.
Mabey she is :lol: . Like I said, I have a doe that just did it about a few weeks ago. She is in a single cage. I have been wanting to breed her but I am having a very hard time trying to fine a buck :( .
False pregnancy happens, infact I have a young doe that just had it happen about 2 weeks ago. This can sometimes happens in a sepperate or community pen where there is all does and the more aggressive doe playing out the bucks part. The, pretend to be breed doe, will sometimes gain a little...
I wean my smaller rabbit breeds at about 6 weeks, and my larger breeds at about 8 weeks. When you do wean them, try to leave 2 babies in with the mother for a day or 2 more to help dry the mother up.
As for holding, I usually wait for the kits to get a peach fuzz on them.
