I did it with our goats one time because I hated burning them. The first time it was cut right off, but then grew back. The second time we made sure it was really low and then taped it in place with duct tape. It took a long time. I think it is actually harder on them than burning it because...
I try to move it quite often. The longer they are in one spot the higher chance they have of digging out. When I first started I had a stationary yard. I thought they would never eat all of it down. They turned it into a barren desert and then wanted out. It needs to be easy to move.
It looks to me like you do not have a space between the smilie and the other words. They must have a space. :) Like that. Not like this:(
See if that works.
We are near Braymer Missouri. I would be glad to sell you a male. It will be a little while before I can tell their sex. I have an adult male you could have if you like.
I am selling Easter bunnies to the Orschelns stores in our area. I have some extras. If anyone is local I sell them for $8.00 They are mixed breeds in the medium class. I use them for meat the rest of the year.
Here are a few pictures.
If you have any more questions you can pm me.
I usually do mine at 5-6 weeks. I was wondering if you can do it any earlier. With Easter getting close, I would like to wean them as soon as possible. Thank you for your help.
I have raised does together. If they have a large enough space, especially if it has grass, it can be done. There is usually a little fighting at first to establish a pecking order. I think it is more natural for them. I like doing it that way as much as possible.
