She a nigerian dwarf.. They have been known to accidentally breed as early as 1 month old... In most cases, it's more like 2 or 3 months old when it happens so it's suggested to keep any bucklings separate after around 8 weeks old..

It's been almost a month since I asked what y'all though... Here are some updated pics... Still thinking the same thing? I've given her CD/T and Selenium/vitamin E gel just to be on the safe side..

Yep! We will be expecting a baby or babies soon! Unfortunately, I don't really know when she was bred so I'm not sure exactly when but I'm guestimating it to be around July 10th based on when I got her and her brother.. Honestly, I could be up to a month or so off... Maybe y'all can help me with...
I greatly appreciate all the responses and I guess my chance of her not being pregnant is much slimmer than I was hoping.. I do have some comfort in knowing that I have an older gentleman I am friends with who has worked on a farm since he was a very young age and has a LOT of knowledge in goats...
:he Ugh.... I *really* hope you are wrong... LOL... ok... Here's a little background...
I got the goats when they were 12 weeks old... There is this beautiful little girl and her brother.. The brother was not banded until he was around 11 weeks old... These two were absolutely pitiful when...
Here are some more pics... Sorry they aren't very clear..
In the morning before I feed them, her belly is much smaller but after she eats, it looks like she's carrying two bowling balls.. I've not felt any movement... I wasnt sure if it was possible she was preggers or maybe her rumen...
I am not going to give any information on this girl other than I have no clue if she was with a male before I got her.. I want to see if anyone can give me insight on whether she is pregnant or not by her pooch pics... What do you think?
This one was taken on 4/2
These were taken on 5/15...
Ok.. Call this a vent, rant, asking for advice, whatever you wish!
I have posted before asking questions about nigis.. I've researched everything I could possibly think of over the last year.. I finally found someone with a doe and wether, unregistered and polled.. I specifically asked if they...
I greatly appreciate that, y'all... Everyone around me is telling me that I'm worse than a first time mom about to give birth! I'm freaking out over the tiniest thing and trying to make sure every detail is covered.. I know.. I know... BREATHE! LOL
Just out of curiosity, can I give them both...
I will be getting two nigis at the end of this week.. I went to the feed store and got the feed, hay and mineral block.. I didn't notice until I got home that they gave me the wrong block because this one was for cattle, sheep AND goats.. It does not contain any selenium... I will call the feed...
Ok... I have another question.. well... maybe a few more...
#1, I was planning on getting two bottle doelings.. The more I read, the more I am wondering if this will be the best choice.. Should I stick with my plan or should I get a pregnant doe and HOPE she has at least one or POSSIBLY TWO...
Most likely I will not be anywhere near the mom.. It's been hard enough finding a reputable breeder anywhere in a 50 mile or so radius of me... I want the doelings to come from a CAEV free herd and I want to bottle feed them... I have a friend that has goats and almost always has milk available...
Thank you for the insight... As for milking, yes, I will need to find out where I will be breeding them since I won't have a buck but I still have time for all of that... My biggest thing is making sure they have the most crucial stuff since I am new to goats and will be bottle feeding...
Ok... I've been planning on getting two nigerian dwarf doelings... I will have them in a drylot setting (with supervised grazing) since we have loose dogs in the neighborhood... It seems, the more I read, the more confused I get as far as what I will need for them... I still have a few months...
WOW!! 12 weeks?? Yeah, guess I am lucky at 7 months.. lol When the wind died down a bit today, we took them outside and put them in the little pen.. The only "aggressive" behavior I saw was Bugs mounting Roger consistently.. If I hadn't had checked myself, I would have thought they were male and...
