Information on raising does; pet not for breeding.

Yes they are ND’s. I hope so; I just can’t separate them, but also don’t want the city breathing down my neck and putting all the others in jeopardy. Our breeder has stated that if it does become an issue we can return but I can’t do that either once in my possession lol. I will sound proof...

Don’t know what to do at this point.

Sorry for the delayed thread on the outcome of our situation. It was quite the blow to our heard and family. Whiskey the G.O.A.T. passed On December 28th. It’s a long read however interesting and just proves, life is short and how awesome and strong willed goats are. After calls to every vet...

I am kinda of lost what to do currently. I have 3 goats that are pets. One of them, Whiskey; 27 months old had what I believe is a respiratory issue. Yesterday i thought it was maybe a rumen issue. However he has developed a wheeze overnight and has a hard time walking or standing for to long...

    Dehorned; Pain Meds

It appears to be healing pretty good. One of them is already covered over. The other side still has a soft spot, but it doesn’t seem to bother him. He head butted me for the first time the other night since his removal and he just looked up at me. I don’t think it felt very good for him. I...

    Dehorned; Pain Meds

Day 3 He has been pretty low key. Isn't drinking as much as i would like to see. He has a clear liquid coming from the area where the horns were. Looks like drainage; however he trys to wipe it off and his ears are down. I try to dab it with a paper towel and he comes unglued. He is grinding...

    Dehorned; Pain Meds

Good evening, My 8 month old had his horns removed by the vet today. All went well, however i noticed this evening that he is grinding his teeth and a little heavier breathing. I am assuming that the meds they gave him at the vet are wearing/worn off. Is there something i can give him for...

    Hello

I have three nigerian dwarfs that are pets/companion and yes, silly as all get out. I live on the Oregon coast and we also grow apples, blackberrys, plums and every other year; peaches. This time of year we are quite damp and as we know goats don't like rain So they pretty much live in the barn...
