Had to give bottle to Papaya twins last night, the spotted one was able to keep nursing on his own afterwards. Black one needed more, but they're eating on their own this morning.
Katsura is still being a witch. Gave eweling a morning bottle and then milked mom and gave that. Tiny udder. Funny, because Holly has a massive one for a first timer and so do the others.
All lambs born have been in better body condition this year, so, definitely going to keep with the soybean meal and will have to get orchard hay in bulk to not run out.
Forgot to mention that they went up to 4 scoops, now 5 scoops 2× a day. But there's 6 moms removed thus far, I'll slowly start backing off it as more are removed from the expecting group.
Positives have been zero cases of choke! No need to soak or top with corn. It's been much nicer and faster feeding them.
No new births this morning, another super cold night, so that's good.
