2023, Waiting on Lambs!

I think there's 9~ more to get.

A bunch of ewes went out on grass. Thin ewes, who were removed for weaning, were also put out on grass. Since I know they'll get fat off it quickly.
Moved the thinnest, with lambs not weaned yet, to the easement to get grained 3x a day. Shearer said corn for 30 days will fatten them up like a dream. So, since alfalfa pellets aren't doing the trick, I'm adding corn on top of it.

Got the thin ewes out on mowing duty today. Driveway first, then I'll move them to the front yard. But I have some plants to fence out first! They eat everything, even bad plants. They don't care!
5~ lambs weren't paying attention, so they're stuck in the easement for the day.
Hoping no lambs escape the fencing and into the road....

Tatiana, Sassafras & one of Seadra's lambs sold. Just have the 3 mutt boys, Corriedale, 3 adult Babydoll ewes and 12 ram/wether Babydoll lambs left to go!

Will look over my keepers yet again and maybe list more lamb/1/2yr ewes to further thin the flock of repeats.

Man...this was so easy! I can't believe I f-ed it up last year & spent all of that money! Looks like I was too far over to the body vs more towards the front end of the neck.
Ended up using syringes to gather instead of the fancy double sided needles & holder.
First a little to the wrong side, rest went smoothly.
