Virginia is for Pasture Farmers!
Got the rest of the tposts in.
Left one out bc the stupid power company needs access to eventually finish their dang job & hook up the pole....
The missing tpost location.

The other pasture, where the fence will be adjusted and added to enlose this area.
I think I'm out of tposts, though.
and a few end trees need to be cut down.

Ohhhh to have ground I could pound t-posts in. Dream. Around here their are boulders (boulders, not just rocks) two or three pounds with the pounder and bounce.

I have that problem, too. But some areas are fine, others it's a hot mess or not possible and I move the fenceline.

We almost built the house on straight rock! But last second change saved us countless thousands.
House was supposed to be out there where grass starts, but all of that is rock. I have to put a fence around the house, but idk how I'll do that with the rocks.
They kept digging until they found "soft" rock to fit stuff into. Lol.
More rock, 6ft high, is piled off to the side.

Ah yeah -- been there did that. Same here - but there was no other place for the house and at that point we were already 15-20 graded down. We had heavy equipment doing the work (D5 dozer I think??) hit a big boulder and could not move it. We had to chemically crack it - drilled a ton of holes in it, pumped it full of expandomatic gunk - three days later it finally cracked open enough for the dozer. LOL I was thinking we might have to include it as a "feature" in the house!
You've got some big ones too!

Since we're trying to one up each other with rocks... 😉
Here's some of the "sheets" of rock I have. Mountain of rock, with pockets of dirt, I guess. Lol
This one is the largest, on the small property. Probably half of it shown.

Looking out from on it.

Hopefully, you can see the rock in the other pics. Tiny amount of dirt just hardly covering huge areas of rock.

Biggest one the neighbor has, that I can see. He used to mow everything, but trees have grown in, it hides all of the other ones and how big that one actually is under there.

Oh man! We’ve got those too! Our crease is made of those. I named one sleeper rock 🪨 - we could easily be neighbors with matching rocks 😉
