Moved the ladies, ewelings & a few ramlings, out to another pasture. Short and weedy, but more than before. Not going to use the other road pasture, as I haven't put in gates yet nor made a long gate to block driveway as they cross it. It also needs a big trough for water and shade installed before use.

The drought has lowered the pond by a good 8-10 inches.
I now know how Zim & the others kept escaping!
Temporarily rolled fence out into water, as sheep are in here now & they do not get their ankles wet. Will have to redo the other pasture's fence before moving sheep in there!

You are a marketing genius. Cute, small, fluffy sheep. Cute, small cows with color. Evenly matched animals, conformation wise, color almost always sells forts and for more money.

Culled 4 more lambs for the dogs.
Still waiting on supposed buyer for 2 adult ewes.
Still have the 2 older ewes available and the 2 non-babydoll ewes listed to go.
Will have about 5-6 adult ewes to move out summer 2024. But need these 6 to go first.
Not sure what lambs I'll keep, but going to cull ram lambs very early on if not sold by 3-4mo, not worth the feed bill & hassle.

Unfortunately, sheep are wussys. So, he's learning more on horses & cattle instead. They have no problem correcting him properly, unlike sheep. Three older ponies try not to actually hurt him, but the baby mini has already kicked him and is always ready to kick or bite him again. 😬 Moos have headbutted him, horned & not.
A turkey pecked him real hard long ago, so he does not bother the birds. 😅
