If you looked at my market lamp post first, then skip to the second paragraph

So had a wild show this past weekend. I know I’m already allergic to goats (to the point that if I blow dry them without a mask, my chest gets very heavy for a few days). Now there were cattle at the show and one of them was being blown out right next-door to me. I found out I’m also very allergic to cattle. To the point that I cannot breathe in my chest is very heavy. Although day one when it first happened, I didn’t feel it as much because it didn’t settle yet. We then went to the hotel room and I couldn’t get any sleep because I cannot breathe.

Day two I ended up washing and blow drying my go out with a mask on in the middle of the road so I could be away from the barn. And then I spent the whole day by the truck really far from the barn so I didn’t have to breathe in all the dust. I went in the ring for showmanship and somehow got a call back and fifth overall senior showman. But I was told by another parent or two that I did look like I was gonna pass out every time that judge turned his back on me. I will say that’s really good showmanship though to hold it together when you can’t breathe. Somehow, I made it back in the ring and got third place in my class for market and for breeding. Somehow, I managed to get Frosty cleaned up enough to go on the trailer and on the way back home. Finally, once I got everyone fed and cleaned up and got home myself. I took a Benadryl and slept forever. Still not feeling 100% but definitely feeling like I can breathe to some capacity.

I added some photos of the show.

Congrats on the placements! But eeeeeek on the alergy - yikes. And you hadn't noticed it before?? Still yikes.
No. It’s only a problem when animals get brown out. I’m thinking about getting one of those offical allergy test. But what does it matter it won’t stop me even if it says cattle will kill me 😂

Take Benadryl ahead -- see if that helps -- and a mask. Of course you didn't already consider that  right!! Hmmm.... An allergy test would be a help. Let's face it, breathing is pretty important. 😱
