Our fourth lambing of 2024! Black ram lamb. No assistance needed. Guess I’m ever on the ready after the second lambing.
Somehow my timing on the last two I get to see the mucous plug leaving. And you know I will be stuck watching and waiting.
Of course this one on the warmest day of the year so far at 78.

And his name is Dinner? It will be better to castrate them so you don’t have horny little devils running amok. You might want to get a bander soon. Band at 4 weeks. Then you can have “working” sheep or Dinner. It won’t be imperative to keep them separated.
