I wouldn't fully say that, 4 deaths, when I used to have none or 1. But less birthing troubles, probably because I went back to just hay/grass as food.

Yearling ewe 245 & 6 ewe lambs. Plus all the rams that are left.


Rams aren't smart...Trees provide cool shade, but a pallet providing warm shade apparently is best...

Flooded market with people selling out & they want SPOTS not spots.
I no longer worry about males, just turn them into dog food, but the ewe lambs I vastly prefer to sell.

The last one is very spotted"... glad the season is over for you. I think alot of us want the birthing season to be over... Still have a dozen cows to calve.... strung out this year again... hoping next year will be better for more defined calving season.

Let mom off the halter, only to put her back on. So close. Was doing fine until she randomly decided nvm and was a again. He's up and keeping up and trying, though.
