So very glad to hear the outcome of the surgery and that they got it all. Getting home to where you feel most comfortable will help with the recovery, and the dogs will help to give you another push to get back to your old self. Follow drs orders but do all you can within that to get up and going...
Can you go out in a UTV or something to see the sheep? You are in summer there, so the good weather and temps will be another incentive to get outside.
Very glad for the update.

Fantastic news for us to start our day with!! So great that they got it all and you made the right choice for the surgery. And being home --- sooo much better. The healing power of home can not be underestimated. LOL wagging dog tails are a special kind of medicine.

So happy you decided to go with the surgery since it turned out the cancer was nastier than they thought. Some prostate cancers are very slow growing, and some doctors advise that surgery is not a necessary thing because of that. My husband's prostate cancer was a very aggressive form, and we are so glad that they caught it in time.

So glad that you are healing properly and will be back on your feet and back to normal soon. :hugs

G'day folks, I am back home now after a 2 day stay in hospital to detirmine a type and treatment for an inflamation if the small viens in my right leg.. I appears that if I had not sort treatment it could have resulted in blood clots forming in my right leg and caused me trouble..... I am now on blood thiners for the next 3 months, apart from that everything else except for the un-controlled incountience which I hope will start to improve over the comming week.. It is not easy being confined to the house and only allowered outside for a short while each day weather permitting.. Next week I am hoping Carol can drive me into town to see the Canasta group and maybe have a game.

I recently joined the local Chamber of Business and at the last meeeting I was asked if I could devolop a radio program for broadcast in my time slot when Our farm is not on. I have spent some time thinking about it and have devoloped a format for it and I will discuss my ideas at the next meeting of the Chamber.

We have had amost a week now of no rain and I car'nt wait to be about to ride around and check out the sheep and farm......T.O.R.

G'day folks, this post comes by way of an explanation .Towards the end of last year my nieces phone was "hacked" and everyone in her contacts list was sent a link which ended up in my contacts list...Once I was aware of it I tried to warn everybody, but not quite sure if everyone got the advice. At this point i do not know what was in the link as I never opened it ,so if you got it and it contained anything undesirable I am sorry. I will only ever contact members through BYH's.

As for me things are moving along quite well on my road to recovery and a recent trip to the dr he said"you are streets ahead of guys 10 years younger than you". It made me feel so much better to hear that.

The new radio program looks as if it will go ahead for the Chamber Of commerence, it should start in June when :Our Farm" restarts.

The farm looks a treat with so much green feed on the ground, I have also listed a line of young rams on Gumtree (a local selling site) and a lass picked up one last week ,she emailed me yesterday to say how happy she was with the way he has settled in,nice to get feedback. As I write this it is raining again and looks lie it will continue for the rest of the week.....T.O.R.
