Integration is going well.

I added a pond (short long water tub) to the run, the ducks like it, but they need more steps to it.

Daughter-in-law shows up Friday.

I will give her the task of scrounging up and placing duck furniture.

I actually had major abdominal surgery on Wednesday... they gave me way more restrictions than I thought.

For 6 weeks:
1. No standing more than 30 minutes as a time
2. Very careful/try to avoid, walking on uneven ground. It's best to walk only on flat sidewalks, etc.
3. No choir for 2 weeks... at check up we shall see
4. Walking only 20, to 30 minutes max

And yes, I get a handy dandy walker

No cheating sucks...

I was going to wash dishes... but who can wash dishes in less than 30 minutes????

I dropped my pillow on the floor... i almost bent down to get it... and then remembered... nope... to get something off the floor, I am supposed to do it in a special way... can't remember how that is.... so yeah... i left the pillow on the floor.

I will have a kid grab it later.

One week and one day post op. How you holding up?
Ha! One week actually!
Doing well, kids are treating me super well, and that new daughter-in-law is here too.... she came for 3 weeks.

they are all super spoiling me. Right now I am sitting on the couch while daughter-in-law cooks for me!

It is however REALLY hard to stay "good". I am not supposed to use any core/stomach muscles, or groin muscles. So, no leaning forward, no picking stuff up from the floor....

But.... at the 1 week check-up doc said I was doing great and had NOT ripped any stitches out!

:clap
