Wonderful! Pictures, please! (I've got a 2 week old Jersey bull, got to get a picture up). It'll be interesting to see if the Holstein cross stays that dark--I like when they get the red stripe down their backbone.

I love the jerseys in our feedlot. They always so sweet and girly looking. The bulls on the other hand :tongue

They got out once and we thought we would be nice and put them away for our renter since he had had one of the workers on his dairy pass away in accident earlier that day. When they started charging the truck we quit and called him up anyway.

Ok, now I'm wondering if I got confused? Perhaps the Jersey is the smaller blacker one and the Jersey/Holstein is the brown and white one? IDK, what do you guys think? The little black one looks more Jersey in the face in person.

Well guys, whether you like it or not the guernsey is here! :) They let us look at her in the trailer before they unloaded her. Her back honestly isn't as bad as those pictures made her look! She is most definitely bred, she's already getting a little udder. She wouldn't let me walk up to her but she is in a new place with new people and smells, I will try to get a hold of her tomorrow and put a halter on her so she can get used to it. She does need a little more conditioning but other than that I don't see anything wrong with her. Oh, we've named her Pumpkin Roll.

The jersey calfs name is Apple Crisp and the jersey/holstein is Chocolate chip. They've been beating me up for their feedings! Little meany butts! :)
