It has the highest count per lb of Lactic Acid Bacteria for any probiotic product I have seen!
It has dosage/feeding info for:
Kids:
Birth
Milk/Milk replacer

Adult Goat:
Maintenance
Breeding/Lactating

And mentions that in severe stress conditions, servings may be doubled.

I've seen it....every week or so when I put it on the shelf at work.... ;)

It's a good product.

I like / use this:

http://www.tractorsupply.com/equine.../opti-zyme-microbial-horse-supplement-5013579

It goes further / more probiotic bang for my buck in a large herd. I top dress their feed and mix it in their free choice mineral.

It is a very rare occasion here for someone to get 'tummy trouble' since we started using probiotics daily.

Do you work at TSC Rolls? :D
I was considering applying to my local TSC now that they're hiring.
Oh, and I bought that probiotics at TSC, Livinwright. :)

Interesting.

Roll, I know you are going to be shocked by this, but after 15 years of raising goats, I have never purchased a single probiotic product.

I have been thinking about trying one. Would this be a good one to try?

Does anyone have another suggestions?

TSC is 8 min. down the road from me.

I learned the value of probiotics when a mare died 2 days after foaling and probios helped us save the foal.

I had goats / llamas / horses / sheep for years before that w/out using probiotics, so I know they'll do 'ok' w/out it...but I've seen the difference it makes.

Yup, I work part time at TSC...15% discount and I make lots of connections that way.

Okay.... how did this turn into a employment for TSC discussion?
LOL

Roll: I have seen the one you linked to, in TSC before also... we decided to grab the Goat specific one, just on a count of the amount of Lactic Acid Bacteria it has over the other brands of probiotics.

So does mine ;) It just doesn't list them seperately in the analysis.
Mine does not have the Saccharomyces cerevisiae(IE: baker's yeast), but rather has Lactobacillus acidophilus DDS-1 and Inulin.
ETA: As a prebiotic, Inulin stimulates the growth of friendly and healthy bacteria
