hi! I am a new goat owner of 2 sibling NDs, they are currently 18 weeks old. I wormed them a few days ago and their weights are ~9 pounds for the girl and ~12 for the boy. They act and look perfectly healthy aside from an occasional cough, which the breeder said should go away when the seasonal temps stabilize. I listened and they don't have rales, I have yet to take a temp, but I plan on doing so soon. I was looking at other threads/forums to try and find a weight that they should be at, and it seems highly variable. Could they just be from small stock and I dont need to worry? I read a few posts where 6 month olds were ~30 pounds and theres no way they will make that! just curious, as I said there isn't anything else that apprears concerning. also as an offshoot question, is there anything that might be added to help them "reach their full potential"? I have them on 2nd cut grass hay, mineral, and a cup of sweet feed (total) a day. Thanks
