No runts in the bunch. All smaller because of being triplets, but evenly sized. No bottle feeding. Just checked on Big Girl and her babies are right with her. None needed assistance, no stuck or breech babies.

Next up: Cookie, due tomorrow and Fancy due Saturday.

Yall aren’t going to believe this, but another set of triplets! Cookie, due tomorrow, had triplets this evening. 2 ewes and a ram.

I made a mistake. Cookie only had twins, plus a borrowed lamb. But at the end of a busy crazy day, I was getting cross eyed looking at lambs. Cookie liked the borrowed lamb better than one of hers and wasn’t feeding it. So son and I made a quick jug in a corner of the pen with a hog panel, clips and a tarp over it for shade. He held Cookie while I helped the baby suck, and she got after it. We “fed” the lamb several times.

Fancy is due tomorrow. I almost want to tell her not to have triplets. It’s pandemonium around here.
