I slaughtered 13 Wednesday. Iced them down. Went to my sisters with my son, to visit on Thursday. Had a nice time. Got them all put in the freezer today. Got 10 left. I’m tired. Had buttered toast and a glass of milk for supper. Going to get feed tomorrow morning. I’ll start on chickens again on Monday.

I'm curious enough to ask if toast and a glass of milk is all you had for supper?
Nope. I finished off an over a half bottle of wine that @Ridgetop brought for us to drink, but I fixed us Blue Bell vanilla ice cream coke floats instead. She and her DH are really hooked on Blue Bell ice cream. And I really enjoyed that bottle of wine!

Somehow I’ve twisted my “good” knee and it hurts. Just great. Limping around like I used to on my other knee before I donated it to the trash can and got a new one. That one is fine, but I’ve done something stupid to the other one. I don’t have time for this crap.

I like Pecan Praline, Coffee, Chocolate Chip Mint, and several others. They are all good. If you go to Brenham where they are based, they have an ice cream shop where they sometimes offer flavors that are not available commercially. Had the yummiest peaches n’ cream there one time!

Took Carson with me to the feed store, he loves to go. He got a dog treat. I got 20 bags of feed. It’s unloaded now and I had a grilled cheese sandwich for brunch.

Came home to Sentry pitchin’ a conniption fit at yet another turtle. Plus there is one in the front yard. Sentry’s turtle is in a bucket on the back porch, I need to go scoop the other one and haul them away. I’m getting really tired of turtles. My OCD dog hates them. Son was here messing with his tractor a few days ago. I was in the house. Sentry and Buford were up in the front corner barking crazy. He went up there and they had a turtle. It was belly up, so he flipped it over, its neck was broke and it was dead. One of the dogs killed it, probably Sentry. But both were still barking their heads off. Why? It was still there! Intruder! Don’t care if it’s dead, it needs to leave! Son threw it over the fence. With turtle being gone, the dogs settled down.

Dandelion, tiny triplet, is still small. Growing, but small. Still fighting for her milk, but always has a full tummy, she never gives up. She can pass through a cow panel, so goes out to graze in the evenings after I put up the ewes for the night, and in early mornings. She goes out the cow panel I put on the gate, to graze the driveway. She is one month and 4 days old. Will she grow to full size? That’s still to be seen.
