Today will see one side covered with metal. This coming week I’ll get the other side ready for metal, next Saturday will see completion.

I’m really ready to do something else!

The back side of the roof has R Panel metal on it! 2 guys laid it out, got it straight and got ‘er done. For once, I stayed out of the way. They both admired the prep work I had done, but there really wasn’t much I could do to help them. One has a few American Blackbelly sheep and was very interested in mine. So we talked sheep and walked through the flock.

Two more pieces to go.

Done with this side.

Next Saturday will get it finished up. I’ll be prepping the other side. Got to get more 2x4s and another 5 pound box of 3” deck screws. One more week of roofing!

WOW!!!! I'm so impressed. I wouldn't know where to even begin on a job that big & intimidating. It looks WONDERFUL! Great Job. You should be very proud.

My DD and 3 granddaughters came in yesterday evening. They are on a quick round, they have to be back in Corpus Christi for meet the teacher on Thursday. They will leave this evening, go to Lindale and stay with a friend a couple of days, then to my sister’s, then home.

I suppose SIL did not suggest that he could help on the roof? Just as well they did not stay since you need to get finished. I noticed that with us the longer the gap between starting and finishing a project the more likely it was not to finish it quickly.
