Yes that new fence. It’s going to have to dry out some. The ground is so soft, you can pull up T-posts by hand. Can’t stretch new wire. I’ll have to set new H braces on the left side, but can repair the 2 on the right side.

It was 2 hackberry trees, growing side by side.

Power came back on around midnight. I woke up at 12:36, then couldn’t go back to sleep until nearly 2 AM. Woke up at 7:30. Electric co-op posted that crews were stopping at 11 PM last night to go home and get some rest. Most people had power by then, but some still didn’t.

And it’s raining now. Sheep and dogs have all gone into their shelters. I haven’t even finished my first cup of coffee. I have to run ewes through the chute this morning, I have some wormy ones I’m treating. Guess I’m gonna get wet. LOL It’s spotty showers so maybe I can work between rain dumps.

Oh Geeze - no rest for the weary 😩.
This weather pattern has got to have an end in sight soon or you all are going to float.

We’ve already done the float thing a few weeks ago. It didn’t work out well for hundreds if not thousands of homes, all down river. Now we are doing the down trees thing and round #238 on destroyed roads. And the power outage thing, just checked outage map, still 477 homes with no power, down from 5,266 yesterday.

My car is still at the church. But at least it finally dried up enough for my not a 4WD truck to make it out so I could go get feed yesterday. LOL

I have gear oil for the gear box on my bush hog. Maybe I’ll get it put in today, maybe not. Maybe I’ll get the grease gun and grease everything I can find, maybe not.

Sad part is, when it finally grinds to a halt, it’s going to STOP and we will get slapped with 100+ temperatures. I’m saving up to buy more hay.

Got everything done except running the girls through the chute. Haven’t fed them either. Thunder rumbling ominously, skies darkened, checked radar, another thunderstorm coming. Good time to come in and get breakfast. Rain expected to stop again in 30 minutes.
