@Weldman you are in a class of your own. I do lots of stuff, but recognize when I need to get out of the way and let the big boys handle it.
Chase came over, in the rain, broke the bolts loose, jacked it up, removed the wheel, blocked the axle with a stand and took it to the local tire store for me.

Power is off. Of course it is. I called it in to their automated system.

I would ask what else could go wrong but don't want to tempt fate.

Power was off yesterday for a few hours too.

Tropical storm came through knocked things around, they bandaged them enough to get the lights back on and now going through systematically fixing everything right is the usual. Rarely sometimes something isn't broke all the way so when the wind blows, so does the power and it's not easy to find.

Rain woke me up at 4 AM. I went back to sleep after 3, slept till 8:15. Went outside to let sheep and dogs out, got 2 1:2” of rain. Got a half inch yesterday. Not raining now, but will probably rain more today.

There is a storm coming in for the weekend celebration that is a tropical storm, but it’s not big enough to have a name, but it’s a tropical storm. Oh joy.

I spoke too soon, it’s pouring rain again.

Just wait -- mid Aug - mid Sep you'll dry out to a crisp . Your having no garden this yr has just saved time for tending no production
