Chris and his brother came over, jacked up the building and leveled it. Next is bringing the heavy stuff I can’t move. Chris said maybe Monday. Then I can move more stuff. I start looking for tools, I have whatever it is, it’s not here. Go to son’s house, go through shipping containers, can’t find it. Go buy another one……

This building has seen better days and it ain’t much, but it beats nothing.

If the roof doesn't leak it is WAY better than nothing....and you can start to get it organized with things so you can find them....

When we were renovating this house I was still doing a lot of work back in Charleston. We wound up with two of everything but it does have it's advantages.

It’s a cold drizzling rain outside. 57F and high of 62. I let Cooper and his girls out on the field this morning and closed their gate when I got home from church. I opened the gate for the ewe crew. I turned on the propane heater while I fixed lunch, it’s on pilot light now.

This evening, the smallest of the triplets born 6 days ago, was all hunched up. I picked her up, stuck my finger in her mouth, cold. Her 2 bigger brothers were pushing her off the milk teat. I took her in the house, wrapped her up in a towel and heating pad. She got all toasty warm. She couldn’t get the idea of the bottle, so I fed her with an eye dropper. She took 1 1/2 ounces. That took awhile, but she got a full tummy. I dragged a black water tub into the utility room and put her in it. She Baa-baaed so pitifully and tried to jump out. She peed, I cleaned it up and held her some more. Just finished 2 ounces. I think she’s gonna be ok. Looks like I have a bottle baby.

Carson is beside himself, so excited! He’s nose bumped her, licked her, if he could get in my lap with her, he would.
And…..what’s in that bottle? Is it good? Can I have some?

Awwww, thanks! I’ve been watching her, but this evening it was time to pull her.

Up at 5:30, to tiny cries of Baa Baa baaaaa. She’s had 2 ounces through the eye dropper. Content now, wrapped in a towel in my lap. On my first cup of coffee. Got to go get a dog crate today and milk supplies for her.
