We crossed a British Friesian cow with a Hereford bull which quite often gave us a black Hereford looking cross calf - sometimes got red ones. They were great calves and grew like weeds in a greenhouse

i have been to the sight many times i am a jr. member. So what i realy want to know is do yall have them.

Had one show up in our herd thanks to a neighbors bull.
Shipped both cow and calf.

Sorry I'm a traditionalist. Herefords are Red and White.

That's what I thought when I visited the Black Hereford site. Just another "breed" created to match up and contend with the black-hide fever that has been going around.
