I am happy, FF always worry me. Plus she is a Boer cross, so she has funky teats. one large one and two small ones on the one side and a double functioning one on the other

my wife just called, just had another baby. This is our ruby. Her 2nd freshening. she was a great mother last year, single buck up but still wet. looks like we are having a lot of singles here. How fast do multiples usually deliver?

2nd one is usually less than 30 minutes. Most of our girls go about 15 minutes between each kid but not always. Some faster some with trips a little longer than 15.

So the doeling with funky teats... what will you do with her? Meat market? Commercial meat doe?

so I meant the nanny that had the baby has funky teats. the new little doe is perfect. we are raising for meat, so it isn't a big deal about her teats, I just worried with her raising a baby. with have two Boer/Nubian cross does. Anna (above) and Elsa, they are twins out of our Nubian Lucy, who we do milk. Ruby who is coming next with her new little guy is also a Nubian, out of Lucy. Lucy is our matriarch!!

If she has fish tail teats the baby should still be able to nurse, but keep an eye out in case you have to supplement.
