One of the chicks got out while the man was feeding them. Boone could have easily snatched it up and swallowed it or at least crunched it, but instead he raced over, ever so carefully got its little tail feathers in his teeth and held it there until we could grab it.
Such a funny dog!

Boone has been exceedingly generous with boops and kisses lately. If I’m asleep in recliner he comes in from outside, gives me a nose boop and quick kiss before going on about his business. Last night he carefully inserted his body in between us and boop kissed my face until I acknowledged him, then made himself comfortable at the end of the bed. I woke up late this morning and groaned because of my back which brought him flying into the room where he practically mauled me. Not sure what to make of it, but as difficult as it is to get back to sleep, I wish he didn’t feel the need to play Prince Charming everytime he enters the house…
I guess if we were cast in Snow White as dwarves we would be Sleepy (me), Dopey (Boone), Whiney (Fen), and Slothful (TheMan)

We have to think about those things. Funny, I was thinking about my dogs yesterday and where I want them to go if I passed away. I’m going to put a note in the folder that holds my will. I also need to get ALL my sheep ear tagged, some have lost their tags, some I haven’t tagged. I need to make a list of names and phone numbers to call for sheep dispersal. My animals give me so much joy, I want them to be cared for and loved.

I left Boone home in the backyard and took Fen as my Service Dog today. (Somehow I don’t feel confident in a wheelchair hanging onto a #135 pup. The visual I have is hair raising)
After 14 hr alone. Boone was SO excited to see me! You know how when dogs get all happy and excited they sometimes find something to roll and wiggle on their backs after having the zoomies? Well I came in alone while Fen and Randy were unloading. Because there is no room to move around in this house, Boone skipped the zoomie part altogether and put the extra effort into the rolling. The problem was that I had sat down on the edge of the bed and he jumped up, knocking me on my back and did the rolling across my head back and forth and twist and wiggle #135 pounds on my face, my nose and my glasses will never be the same. He treated me like a dead odiferous fish.
I don’t know whether feel loved or insulted
