Anyone here fish?
I caught a nice 15" Walleye over Mothers Day weekend. I mainly go for largemouth, but I don't really care lol.

LOVE fishing!!!

I had a little time yesterday and went fishing with the Boyfriend. We took the canoe to a large pond and fished. Between the 2 of us we caught about 20 Blue Gill. Nothing else though. It was still a great time.

I like sea fishing. One year we were pink salmon fishing (one of the few fresh water breeds I like, but its a fresh sea water one which i think is why I like it) and I caught my limit of, 7 I think? In an hour.... We realeased them just to have fun getting a bite evry 5 minutes !!!!! Also, we were deep sea fishing, I caught a 134 lb halibut !!!!!! And I caught a ling cod sooo big I thought I was caught on a rock !!!! HE WAS HUGE !!

I grew up in the pacific, did everything from deep sea to creeks. Deep sea is not for me. As soon as I lost sight of land I got sea sick and as soon as I saw land again I was better. Lol my husband is an angler too. He has fished all over Europe and some in Africa. It is in his blood. His grandfather and uncle have won many trophies.
We have a beaver pond on our property. We catch sunfish, catfish, pike, bass in our pond. We just catch and release.
Usually once a day we are out there in the evenings casting a couple times just to relax before dinner.

Man, that sounds like fun! I wish I could do that. The only pond I have in my backyard is a concrete pond.

This pond comes fully stocked with cotton mouth, alligator turtles, frogs, crayfish, numerous water bugs and Mosquitos! Lol
Tadpoles are just turning into froglettes right now. My son saw a snake down by the lower pond today, we actually have two ponds and then marsh thanks to the beavers. It has it's benefits and drawbacks. Lol

I love fishing also. I caught a 10 inch fish last weekend. Not sure which kind.

I'm going again this sunday.

I went fishing for 6 hours yesterday on the lake. We didn't catch anything worth keeping really, but we caught 18 fish between the 3 of us. I also caught a lot of sun, so now I put lobsters to shame

It isn't about keeping them! Lol just that we can catch them.
My kids don't care so much about size but how many. It is so much fun for them this way. My 7 year old put everyone to shame at a friends BBQ a while back. She caught more than anyone else just using worms. They had liver, worms and fancy lures.
I have a few pictures but can't get them loaded using my phone. Lol just not savvy
