It isn't about keeping them! Lol just that we can catch them.
My kids don't care so much about size but how many. It is so much fun for them this way. My 7 year old put everyone to shame at a friends BBQ a while back. She caught more than anyone else just using worms. They had liver, worms and fancy lures.
I have a few pictures but can't get them loaded using my phone. Lol just not savvy
My family likes just catching them as well. What I mean by keeping, is that they are large enough to take home and eat. We usually just catch and release, but when ever we catch a big enough fish that we can take home to eat, we don't pass it up.

I wish I had a big enough pond to stock with catfish.
We've stocked it with feeder goldfish as well as blue gill before lol.

Now, it will be stocked with ducks :D

I love fishing also. I caught a 10 inch fish last weekend. Not sure which kind.

I'm going again this sunday. :)
Up north they call that a White perch, spotted perch or paper mouth. Here in Louisiana we call the sac-a-lae( pronounced soc a lay.) To me they are the best fresh water eating fish.
