Can someone diagnose this bald, raised spot?

Just after the vet gave her a clean bill of health a week ago, this appeared on Brandy's neck. I'm a TOTAL newbie and I have no idea what to do.

It's about the size of a quarter, and I swear it appeared overnight. It doesn't seem to be getting worse or bigger, and it's been there two days.

I will try and get a better picture as soon as somebody gets home to help. She is not keen on being still for a close-up.

It is smooth skin, no lesions, no redness. It's just a big raised bump and with no hair on it.

Here's the best picture I could get. She moves a lot.

Again, it's about the size of a quarter, raised from the rest of the skin maybe 1/2", no hair, and a red mark on one side. It has not gotten better or worse in two days.

She has no other problems and does not seem sick at all. She doesn't fuss if I touch it.

Any ideas?

Have to say if there is a red spot it sounds like she was bitten by something unless the vet gave her a shot in that spot. If you don't see anything insect wise on her perhaps spray a bit of iodine on it and a touch of poly and see how things progress... doesn't sound like she is in distress.

Just a note... if you have a camera and its aimed at a goat and they know its aimed at them... they will NEVER stand still... EVER. :he
