Will you start to milk more now to replace Blossom and keep Eva comfy, in milk, or dry her off?
It's a decision here, with goats, as to milk/dry off. Quantity is a decision maker. Use for it, another. Finally, I get down to one and winter weather -- milk or dry off I have normally made and frozen enough farmer cheese for the winter by then. My chickens adore that curd in winter. With piggies on hand to feed it's ok. No feeder pigs right now but -- a local has some at good price & I'm thinking on it
