So sorry to hear that! I hope your health improves. Is staying with your son a long term plan or just temporary? Thanks for checking in! We had to sell the farm/homestead when I got sick last fall. We moved back in with our sons and I just have 3 ducks and my fish. I’m active again on BYC but hadn’t logged in much over here.
I'm back after disappearing for...however long lol. (I'm so late to this thread) As far as what's been happening on the farm recently---we really, really downsized; mostly due to the fact that I have school and everything and with a big family and a lot of people with different things going on it was the best option. HOWEVER (!) I've decided to get back into growing some animals and getting a new flock of chickens up and running again, and then I'm going to work on learning how to make yarn (hopefully, my patience might interfere with this process, lol). But anyway, currently I'm making sure I've got everything planned for when I do get new baby chicks and making sure I have the right feed plan; that's about itWe have such a wonderful community here at BYH, but we know life gets busy, so I was thinking it would be fun to start a thread welcoming some of our herd-loving-friends we haven't seen in a while.
If that's you, come say hello and let us know what you've been up to!
(if that's not you, feel free to invite peeps you haven't seen in a while and say hi to those that post here)
