Some of my new chickens have lice. I know they can't be transferred to me but what about my sheep and other animals. I'm treating with hi-yeild. I can't find wether or not the eggs will be safe to eat. Anybody have a idea?

Lice and mites are species specific, so they won't bother your sheep. I'm not familiar with Hi-yield, so I'm not sure if the eggs are ok or not. Hope you find an answer!

Try putting Food Grade Diatemaceous Earth (DE) out for the chickens so that they can "bathe" in it. It will kill the bugs.
