I'm on fiber. I wonder if the server farm that hosts the websites is in Houston area? It went down around the time I had all the alerts about tornados. Baytown and Pasadena are seriously damaged and in recovery mode.
Nifty said it was something to do with the server host changing their IP address without warning. Took him almost 2 days to get it resolved.

If you ever can’t get BYH, SS or TEG to load, check over on BYC. BYC is very large and set up a little differently than the other 3 sister sites. So if they are down, BYC isn’t usually affected (and vice versa). You can often find a thread on BYC talking about what the problem might be for the sister sites. And one of us will usually start a chat thread where we can hang out until our site is back up. (Check Random Rambling forum.)

4:30 on a rainy Monday
I should be getting ahead in the usual Goi g To Work stuff, but I'm scrolling FB & BYH, nursing a coffee & a mildly sprained wrist wile waiting for Eva's beetpulp to soak up the hot water.
Good morning everyone.
Stay dry VA folks

I’m on Hughes so anything is possibleon my end. Watch the weather. I’m not supposed to be affected but I’ll bet I wake up to a watch tomorrow.
We were on Hughes Net in Lindale. Satellite always goes out in a storm. We’d be watching the news, tracking tornadoes and right before it got to us, TV would go off. So, do we run for our lives or sit here and kiss our a$$e$ goodbye? I feel your pain.

I’m on a phone line now. It’s a line that if I call out, it’s 50 cents a call, except for 911. I can take incoming calls for no charge. I guess I ought to get a land phone. LOL

Woke up at 4, got up at 4:30. Dogs were barking, even Carson. He is LOUD, on the porch and at my bedroom window. No sleeping through his barking!

On second cup of coffee, last day of therapy, gotta be there at 8:30. Then home, hitch up trailer to take Reina to the vet, her appointment is at 1:00. Plus rain. Did i mention rain? It’s sloppy wet, standing water everywhere, muddy sheep lot. It’s going to rain through Thursday. I go out in the rain up to 6-7 times a day to put drops in Reina’s eye. There is not a dry spot on this place. Longing for a real barn, with hauled in dirt to raise the sea level to keep water from running through it on its way to somewhere else. Ah! I can dream!

'Tis a rainy one today. It came in yesterday around noon. Luckily I got in the instinct tests that have been rescheduled countless times. Great people, good dogs. The rain came in and that put the damper on target shooting with DS &DDIL that we had planned. A rousing game of Scrabble took it's place. :D =D .
Looking like the rest of the week will be dry - which will be nice to hopefully finish up improving garden beds and planting along with everything else that regularly has to get done.
Not sure how many more chilly days we have, but I plan to make good on drinking more milk (aka Hot Cocoa and marshmallows  ) while I can!

I might have extra time this week, so maybe I will do a little more posting than usual.

In Chicago babysitting two of my grandkids while their parents go to my son-in-law’s parents’ time share in Hawaii. Both kids will be gone all day and my job will be getting them to and from school/daycare, and watching them in the evenings and weekends. And also walking the dog multiple times a day. First weekend is in the bag. One week from today I go home.

Sitting here SO SO thankful that my husband works from “home” so he was able to come with me. Originally it was going to be only me. Now I see just how impossible that would have been!!
