You had me at Lemur...What's the Lemurs name, and is this a common pet? We have a coatimundi that lives in my town, and got loose one day wreaking havoc on some folks property and ability to think straight. I think a lemur would be more gentlemanly...:idunno
Lemurs are very unusual here. Although think I had one for a district manager once. There was a petting zoo/mini golf/perpetual garage sale in a town down the road that closed which could explain the lemur’s presence.

I am the birthday girl. My neighbor has a lemur. I never thought I would type these two sentences together. Never underestimate the universe’s sense of humor.
Happy Birthday!! And a lemur?!!! WOW -- the only lemur experience I've has was at Pairi Daiza -- a zoo in Belgium - and the lemurs would climb on my shoulders!

Meat goats are chowing down in another field I opened for them, instead of backyard!! It's FULL of goodies ... Every vine, forb, grasses, vetch, peas, dandelions, plantain and other stuff for their pleasure! Even a couple low hanging trees to trim up. Yeah, pure delight. 🥰 Coupled with no feed $$ and I'm delighted, too. They've got a week in there. More rain tomorrow. Growing.

They didn't even lift their head as I walked away :old

Good morning! Been up long enough to give Dandelion a bottle and me a cup of coffee. She is cuddled in my lap now, asleep. Church this morning, haul off bag of trash and see what the afternoon brings. Grazed Reina on the driveway all day yesterday, lots of rye grass there. My yard is real shaggy from horse/sheep grazing, they should eat that tall stuff! Oh, got another stupid turtle yesterday, trying to get in Sentry’s field. I’m guessing last year when the two ponds here dried up to puddles, the turtles left and now they are trying to come back. Fence, Sentry and me are thwarting their plans. I have nothing against turtles but Sentry does and his insane hatred of them is enough to keep me hauling them off.

I believe the applicable phrase here is, "Plum tuckered".

Morning, tried to sleep in this morning, had a horse show yesterday. Got some homework to try and do this morning. Hoping to rest a bit before church, running a 5k after church. Can practically do that in my sleep at this point. Beautiful morning here, y'all have a blessed day!

Good morning all - foggy socked in morning here can't even see the mountains (or heck the barn for that matter !) - typical for this time of year. One cup in, a dog on my foot as I type. Waiting for the fog to lift to let the sheep out. Did an instinct test with a bunch of very exuberant Bearded Collies yesterday. Happy happy ZOOMY dogs. Oh my (yeah I knew this going in). The sheep earned their alfalfa and topped with pellets yesterday -- good sheepies.
Have a great one!

Haven't even finished one cup yet - putting it in travel mug to eave for church.

Just don't walk into a field of friendly, used to being touched bodies, with any feed container in hand -- they'll surround you!!
We feed from outside the pens now. Years ago we had a small flock of sheep and I fed inside the pen into a feeder. They rushed to the hay and trapped me with their bodies. It was like a vise on my legs. I couldn't move. Slapping them to try to get them to move didn't work. The hay was worth a couple of whacks. Naturaly since I was down in the barn no one heard my cries for help. Finally. I starting grabbing the hay flakes out of the feeder and tossing them out of the pen. No hay, the sheep grudgingly moved and I was able to limp over to the gate, get out, and retrieve the hay. Then I threw it in from outside. My legs were actually bruised! LOL
