Yep!! NO RESPECT for your space! They'll trip you up, jump on you (well, goats will!) And trample you once you fall. 😱

Clear this morn, grazing happened...then rain!! So, a stampede of goats to the barns. God forbid they get wet

Pretty steady rain and looks to be most of the rest of the day, off and on at least. I have to repeat -- "rain makes grass grow! Good pasture, saves hay $" over & over. I should have that printed on signs and post them all over my house. 🥴 Learn to tolerate it.

Haven't even finished one cup yet - putting it in travel mug to eave for church.

We feed from outside the pens now. Years ago we had a small flock of sheep and I fed inside the pen into a feeder. They rushed to the hay and trapped me with their bodies. It was like a vise on my legs. I couldn't move. Slapping them to try to get them to move didn't work. The hay was worth a couple of whacks. Naturaly since I was down in the barn no one heard my cries for help. Finally. I starting grabbing the hay flakes out of the feeder and tossing them out of the pen. No hay, the sheep grudgingly moved and I was able to limp over to the gate, get out, and retrieve the hay. Then I threw it in from outside. My legs were actually bruised! LOL
YUP!! Been there - and thank God for the dog who helped me out!

Storms came through general area and prob F1or2 tornado touched down in VA Beach, about 60 miles from me. I see on news this morn, it hit about 3 miles from where I once lived for years. Estimates now are 50-100 homes damaged in varying degrees, some cars, etc. No human losses. 👍. Tornadoes are rare here.

Coolish all week -- 65 to low 70s. Some dry out needed, after 4-5" in couple days. Sunshine will be nice.

Work today. Big, all day reset...move that product! 😁

A birthday present from Hubbs. The bantams have begun to lay steadily, 4 eggs from 4 hens daily. No breaking. These are copper Maran x Barnvelder for some dark brown eggs. I’m hoping to have a combined flock/peaceable kingdom.

Mondays 🤬
-Drove 2.5hrs roundtrip so I could spend an hour walking contractor thru site for quote on stuff.
- Spent hours discussing issues with process running poorly Bottom line is operators touching random buttons on weight controller screen to "wake it up". This includes the TARE button so no wonder our weight based receipe went to crap. The same brilliant operators didn't bother mentioning that the reactor suddenly weighed -9,890lbs between batches.

You are a brilliant engineer. Over the top smart, problem solver extraordinaire. You solved this problem.

But not even you can fix stupid.
