Met at swap with @farmerjan .... We walked & talked. Had lunch, left. Both got home about same time. This thing gets bigger and bigger! ONLY pic I took was from back of my truck, on hill in the hay field and this was the overflow lot ...things began at those red roof tops to waaay beyond the silver one. To the right there at 2 big silos...my line up to find my truck again.

Do you think that it's getting more people in from the suburbs and cities??
Around here we have things that years ago were just small things out here in the rural or more rural areas. Little town celebrations etc. There's one here in my "town" -- which really isn't a town (no mayor or anything - but we've got a zipcode! , a post office, a fire station and a library). Our little town "Days" has gotten huge. So big that us locals really can't get to it. It's become a "thing" for the city folks to go to. Totally messes up the roads - bumper to bumper for miles. What would normally take me 20-30 minutes to get to is an hour or more on the "Days".

. But it was packed. Maybe Jan will know more as she's gone for years. It was the largest I've been to there -- both vendors and "customers". Lot of families.....

Yep, forgot all about the picture thing until I was on my way home.... OOPS..... At least @Mini Horses got a pic of the parking ... This thing has exploded... and it is not just chickens and poultry... or the other farm animals that have crept in over the years... It is a flea market type thing now too....He is calling it "Trade Day " instead of the poultry swap like it used to be. It just keeps getting bigger and bigger.

The weather was nice, not too hot and a little breeze... we covered alot of ground. I bought a 4 pk of tomato plants and a 4 pk of peppers... @Mini Horses sprung for lunch and it was highway robbery and nothing to write home about.
When we got done, we went back to our respective vehicles, then I drove up to her truck and we traded some ground beef and milk and sat and talked a bit then left for home in the opposite directions. It was a nice day and a great visit. Both of us wishing we lived closer so we could share a garden and the work....

I'm still blowing dust out of my nose !!!! But that beats getting wet from rain !!!..

Coffee is ready. I slept till the alarm went off at 6:00. Church this morning, then probably be lazy this afternoon.

Up and having coffee. Yes, we had a great visit. I even got a week of laid eggs out of my house into hers and she's gonna sample goat milk why not? I had a great hamburger from her home grown beef last night (& fed DS) Lunch there, agree

Got home to DS mowing front yard, moving tractor attachments & mowing there. Some goats had hopped out of a field while gone-- didn't go anywhere -- so he had fixed the post and they followed me back in with just a call to them.

Milked goats needed, did other chores and came in very sleepy...up early, drove, walked...went to bed and became a log!!

I'm home next couple of days...I would love to get some tractor time in. Maybe first till the garden area
