Just finished cup 2 (hmmm a pattern - cup 1 and out the door we go) -- Sheep worked on the roadside - proving that the "grass" is greener on the other side ;) . Sheep stall all cleaned out, chickens taken care of (snail gathering to and from the barn for them) and a few other little things.
Going to DS and DDIL's tonight for pepperoni pizza and Baskin Robbin's ice cream cake -- DS's 40th today. I think I blinked - he can't be that old!
.
Though it's hard to see in the pic - their pasture is on the other side of the fence -- all brown, sheep are happy to be out and munching on the green.

They're doing a great job 😁

I found my goats were doing a "self assigned" clearing this morning. Between the driveway that goes on & along perimeter of my property, next to unused RR track & right of way...😱....as I drove back to take something to my DD house, at rear of farm. There they were, munching away!! Well, lots of stuff there and neighboring field had just been plowed, so dirt. Hmmm....left them and now, couple hours later, they are full & thirsty. So back in fence and up to their water. 🤷😵‍💫. May let them eat some more this week before I fix that hole.🤔😋 It could use their clearing expertise.

Sky got black, thundering, put away tools and came inside. Nothing yet.
@Blue Sky I'm glad a smashed tree seems to be all the damage you got. You might want to check your roof, even ping pong size hail can beat up a roof.
Yep. I hope the trees are done falling. The big boy may have dinged a couple of his neighbors.

Woke up this morning, under protest. Leash burn on my neck from using the hands-free leash Fen kept pulling on. My hands are in worse shape from reeling him in. He's very young to do public access but living as far from town as we do, and as infrequently as we leave the ranch, I have to take every opportunity in order to get him trained. Other than that, Fen actually did a real good job. He stayed quiet in the restaurant, where I let him sit under the table until our food arrived, at which point I thought it wise to crate him in the car before he became over stimulated by the smell. He kept trying to high five the doctor because she was talking with her hands a lot,

and he did really well at the grocery store, quickly picking up my credit card that I unknowingly dropped. THAT was a biggie!!
Anyway, trying to survive "day after" syndrome, which always kicks my butt because of the RA and other autoimmune issues I collected. we shall see if I make it to tomorrow

A work in progress and definitely sounds like he’s “go this” and will be perfection with experience. Hope you “recover” quickly. 👍🏼😊

Good morning everyone! Rain missed us - we got the clouds, wind, temp drop from outskirts. Fine with me as I wasn't wanting wet. Dry, sunny and upper 70s today & tomorrow. I can deal with that just fine 😊

Having morning coffee. Been reading up on what appears to be a little carpal tunnel issue in one hand and how to resolve it. Yeah, own doctor syndrome. 🤣 But it is that and I'll be fine, it's minor mostly. An inconvenience, something new. 🤔 Fence post pounding might be off my list today....hmmm.

Thinking I need to check meds to see if I have to stock up anything before the dreaded OTC issues for animal stuff. Another list 🤬

Better get to chores while temps out there are really refreshingly good. Top off all water, etc. :frow

I am SO proud of Fen. Although I can say having a dog this bright does wear me out :ep My lap is full of contraband again this morning that I have had to purchase from the little extortionist. But yesterday’s pain has passed and hoping for a productive day with my little buddy at my side. Even when he’s not being helpful, he’s entertaining, although his forays do cut into my coffee drinking time…
