Just popping in to say hello. Having a very "Poka Day". It is my first day off in a week, so I slept in ten minutes, and then slowlyyyyy got ready for a run this morning. Did a very "Poka thing" and did about 19-20 miles instead of the 15 I had planned on. Then took my horse out and jumped. Finally sitting down for the first time today, not sure any of the food in the house is safe from my large appetite.

Good morning!! 
Yep, another day to enjoy -- or plough thru
-- depending. There's 4th of July coming up 
so lotta travel, noise, cookouts, celebrations, craziness coming up in some areas. I stay home. But, in anticipation of the unnecessary/usual gas increase, I filled the tank in the car, $2.88 a gal 
my own celebration.
Weather decent today with mid 80s high, not bad. Plan some daily (now) fence work.
Did shop errands yesterday, grocery, feed, gas...done! Minor needs but out and back before things get crazy for weekend people...like NO hamburger rolls on shelves 
coffee, chores, get to making things happen! Sure need my truck fixed & done. Yeah, still in sick bay. Parts coming Sat that I hope is the magic bullet. 
time for a breakfast bite now.

@Mini Horses ; Did you get your garden plowed finally and get all those volunteer tomato plants in??? 
I get the "no truck" PITA stuff...
Gas here is $3.17.
Getting ready to head to rake the rest of the hay so it can get turned up and what little needs to finish drying.
It is very hazy again this morning. If this is what smog is like, I hope I never spend any time in places that has it.
Calling for the storms to possibly be severe with heavy amounts of rain Fri aft/eve and into the weekend. I will be in the barn Fri testing. Wedding sat afternoon... gotta figure out what I am going to wear. Hope the weather is nice for her.....I am leaving early to go test Fri and go to the venue where she is getting married so I know where to go on Sat.... I will luckily be right up in that area Fri afternoon.

@farmerjan no garden in yet. Too much fencing time
. A chicken scratched up those volunteers. Not a good garden yr for me! But, some things can still grow, plus fall things...we have warm temps later here than your area. 
This morning we have some haze from some NC wildfires...
Didn't know there were any out there. Nothing major on my agenda, just same old stuff. That might change when I go out for chores. Was awake at 4:30 for whatever reason..so coffee time about over. I'm thinking food now. Better go eat.

Birdie has a vet appt at 12:15 so she gets to spend the day in my office.

I slept through alarm, must be tired. LOL Very foggy. Currently 76F will go to 99F today. Chance of rain all week. Going up on roof in a short while to roll out more underlayment. Then I’ll secure tarps better in case it does rain. I’d like to get front side of roof covered in underlayment. I’ve been outside before 6:30, my concession to sleeping through alarm this morning is to be outside by 7:00. I’ve got 15 minutes before the morning Sweat Festival begins. LOL
