Up at 7am just in time for the severe weather to hit. Relaxing and watching the rain instead of working on projects. So sad...

Sometimes you have to take a forced rest. Doesn’t look like I’m going to get any of that. Weather app says 50%, radar says not happening.

Fence -- what's new ? -- set up for tomorrow's repairs, bush hogged a field. By this time it's 2 and HOT...92 w/ feel like 101. Diesel low, went back to house & shut it all down. Showered, clean clothes and in AC! Supper done, I'm sleepy. . Need to stay up another hour -- too early for bed. Hope to start early in morning while cooler.

Mornin all. Coffee's ready. We are dropping in temps back below the triple digits, so it'll be nice out. Just wish we could get some rain. Went to town (SW) yesterday and noticed someone mowing wet grass, and water in some of the driveway holes. I put the sprinkler on for 8 hrs in the front yard before the rain Sat and still would have mowed dry grass Sun afternoon.

We're at 78, going to 96/feel like108. THEN about 3pm we're to have "severe" storms roll in from SSW. Gonna be a real mix of weather today. Even with warm temps right now, it's overcast, light breeze. Not severe temps like some of you but, we ARE getting some rains to offset, now and then.

I'll get my farm work done this morning --it's actually pleasant out there right now. Slept like a log last night! Hope I don't have any goat chase events today. Wish I'd had a feed bucket with me yesterday! Truck has that, halters, lead lines -- like a spare tire. Not on the tractor.

Thanks for the coffee! I just got up. I went outside and let the dogs out in the field. On first cup of coffee. Dropped a 2x6 on the high arch of my foot yesterday. I could barely walk the rest of the day, sat in recliner with foot propped up. It’s better this morning but still hurts. I’m sore and beat up all over from staying on the roof until 1:30 Saturday. Think I’m gonna take the day off. No roof, no work, only the chores I have to do.

50% chance of rain for the next 8 days. Currently it’s 76F and 92% humidity. High today of 93F.

Having a cup of milk for 1st break. It's 82F and 81% humidity. I think I should just wear my swimsuit at this point.
