Coffee downed, stalls cleaned, road blown, chickens fed, more to do.
And - it's back - the BYH emails - holey moley - it's been gone for months and now its back. Ya'll make me
feel like slug -- you're all sippin' and chugging coffee while I'm sawin' logs! Damn time difference (must be why @Ridgetop is movin' to TX -- to be in an earlier timezone- though she gets so much done anyway cramming 48 hrs of work into 12 hrs
)

Had to put frozen tiles in the rabid’s cages yesterday because of the heat. I hung a wet towel on one side and turned the fan around to blow on them too. Idk how you folks who live in hot places do it!!
It’s not even all that hot here, usually …80’s 90’s almost never high 90’s but I’m afraid to breed the rabids in this heat since August is even hotter. It was so many years ago I can’t remember if I bred them in summer or not
No coffee today. Rum & coke. But it’s nighttime so I’m legal. Fen is chewing on his deer leg so I am breaking the rules and wearing socks. I feel like such a rebel!

Big, fresh pot of coffee! Soon as I'm wide awake I need to prioritize my today. Things to do and problems to fix. For whatever reason, suddenly my sick bay truck -- not being driven, started -- leaked out it's oil! Hasn't been worked on for 48 hrs and there it is all over driveway...couple quarts? We saw it at dusk, so that's a this morning "look see". 
Wasn't that way after lunch, so 
what? How? Why?
Three more pastures to work spot fence repair, tightening, etc. Why do the goats want in those?? My little mini mares aren't even going to pastures with open gates! Animals! Personalities! Strange tendencies! The goats are fine in different areas all day BUT, evening they want back to THEIR barn, not the one in the day field.
trust me, they will get there, like a bulldozer. Sooo problematic some days.
Need to get moving. Feed, check water, milk, play with new kids, feel tummies. Oh, yeah, I'm out of hay and need that for new mom penned up! There's a "first thing job"....in trunk of car, no less. Truck down!. Will be an interesting day just " putting out fires"!
And we all wonder why things " don't get done"

Mornin all. Still on coffee, it was a late start. We got a sprinkle last night and a big line of storms coming this way. It looks like it'll skim right south of us.
