Reheated a cup from the pot brewed and not drunk for last night's guests. Great fireworks all over the Valley. They are illegal here but when the city parks and colleges cancel their big public fireworks displays in favor of "drone shows" citizens celebrate independence themselves. Those of our guests who have seen them said the drone shows were incredibly boring and not worth watching. The entire Valley floor for miles was full of beautiful fireworks for about 4-5 hours!
Appointment at 9:30, then chair to uphosterer, then start loading trucks and trailers. AND I STILL HAVE 2 LARGE PLATIC BINS EMPTY!

I watched a 75+ mile squall line come at us this morning. It stopped 15 miles away and stayed there, until it drizzeled out. Even picked up and got bigger on it's north end. Heading SE that would've helped increase our chances. While 20 miles away got 1"+, I thought I was going to have to go inside from the rain, then it quite.

Hate your not getting the water! We got 1.75" today....on top of what we got just a day or so ago. Poss scattereds tomorrow . Clear Fri, then 50-60% Sat thru Mon when another system is to visit.

I feel guilty over areas without.

Good mornin' all. Coffee's ready and some scrambled eggs with sausage and garden fresh banna peppers. Odd since I haven't been eating breakfast.

I hope you get rain! Looks like I’ll have until 12 noon or maybe 1:00 before a light rain moves in. I’ll be on the roof as long as I can. Houston news just flashed a radar picture up and Oklahoma has a big red wad of storm moving across it. I hope it gets to you!

Got to work, clocked in, rinsed out my mug ... and the room went dark. Power is our AGAIN! 3rd time in a month.
We have a generator - but that ONLY runs the equipment necessary to keep the business going : network equipment, PC's, scales, printer and 1 big fan. No AC, no lights, no radio, no well pump so no toilet or even hand washing, and NO COFFEE MAKER.
I hope it comes on soon or it's going to be a LOOooooooong hot miserable day.

Watched the radar. It formed a little red line right in front of us, then broke up, then formed again east of us. We got a 5 min sprinkle. More in KS could come over us. More chances the next 2 mornings, hopefully we get more than 1 tenth a day.
