@Margali i agree with the above comments. I have a 2004 F250 diesel, not 4 wheel drive. When it comes to mud, it will sink. When it comes to not mud yet, but wet, it will spin and slide. And now that live on a dirt road.

His does have 4wheel drive if it matters. Work case is he has to park in on gravel pad outside gate vs at house till we get more rock put down.

4wd will make a world of difference with the dually. I grew up with 2wd trucks... drove in the snow and everything up north. BUT not dually... they were all straight drive and single rear axles with single rear wheels. Put that one truck of mine through any and everything. My little 2wd ranger goes lots of places with minimal trouble....

It is a diesel. We got 13mpg on trip to Oklahoma and back. A 2500 would have had enough tow capacity but we couldn't find one with a mega cab in our price range in good condition. There are some time having a husband that is 6'3" tall and 24" across the shoulders is REALLY annoying. The 350 cab has just enough room for an adult behind his seat.

Yeah, DS is 6'6" tall....long back and legs....they do not do well in small height vehicles.

Truck shopping here Older trucks hard to finance -- I do understand. Newer, I don't want but they'll loan "whatever". Came home. I've got pre-qual everywhere -- must decide, newer, fancier or older with more cash outlay. . I swear, I looked at an '01 today that looked like it should be on a showroom floor. And holy cow -- the dealer "prep fees" are killer HUGE!! I deserve a full tank of gas whenever I pick one up

I'm tired of it .....of course, every ad that pops up is a truck!!

Gets worse -- I'm seeing same as I have in driveway for about what I pd for mine 8 yrs ago.

Of course, theirs has a running engine.

That was how we ended up with new cars.

Such excellent loans!... but cars, not trucks, so new was not as bad as with a truck.

Such talent going to waste! He's got problems but, you can't help until THEY make the decision to do better. Believe some bipolar mixed in it'll take 2 months to get it finalized, courts & all that. At least weather will be better to live in a tent.

I need to finish my coffee, go feed and go shop trucks.
