Actually, he's been given an eviction notice.

I'll hire the truck repaired. But I'll buy another to use -- eventually I'll have two to drive!! And a car.🤐WTH!! Life goes on, it always has. Some days are just better than others. 😕

Looking at 3 tomorrow....🤷 & 2 maybe go sees. Depends on how first ones hit me 🤣 I hate to shop!

Coffee is ready. Granddaughters have been given back to their parents. It is quiet here. I need to set a bale of hay for the sheep, and I’ll put the ewe crew in the front field. Sheba loves the new field, so does Sentry. Buford has had one lesson with the lambs, on a leash. With granddaughters here, I didn’t even try with him. I think he might turn out to be the best of all 3 dogs.

Morning everyone! Hope Y'all had an excellent HOLIDAY.
We're supposed to go pick up our new car (2021 Chevrolet Equinox) on Sat but may NOT happen seeing how FH might be out for snow time.

There I go with my twisted farmer humor.
Mine, too. 🤣 Wish I could take him to an auction right now!!! Drop off & leave! I'd send them a CK. 🤐🤭

Such talent going to waste! He's got problems but, you can't help until THEY make the decision to do better. Believe some bipolar mixed in 🤷😣 it'll take 2 months to get it finalized, courts & all that. At least weather will be better to live in a tent. 🫤

I need to finish my coffee, go feed and go shop trucks. 😁

So we finally found a truck for hubby. It is a 2015 F-350 Super Duty XL that was used as a commercial hot shot vehicle down in Houston. Factory air bags and gooseneck hitch in bed. It has 223K miles with all service done at dealership. I've nicknamed it Pogo since it is a bouncy ride empty. My Grand-MIL has a gooseneck flat bed parked at FIL's house 20 minutes away. No worries getting hay or long panels anymore. ;)

That's the good news. The bad news is that all five of us are sick. Getting a quick start on our medical plan deductible.

Sorry you all have gotten the "crud".

Great on the truck. Gas or Diesel? 4x4 ? Be careful of dually's in soft, muddy situations... they are not the greatest. Mud/crap gets between the wheels... Remember that it is not going to get great mileage....DS has the dually from my father, that he used to pull their 5th wheel camper with. Nice ride and all that, does NOT take it off road... good for pulling the trailer on the road. I think his is a 2016....

Great on the truck.
It is a diesel. We got 13mpg on trip to Oklahoma and back. A 2500 would have had enough tow capacity but we couldn't find one with a mega cab in our price range in good condition. There are some time having a husband that is 6'3" tall and 24" across the shoulders is REALLY annoying. The 350 cab has just enough room for an adult behind his seat.

My dually will get stuck on wet grass with NEW AT tires, with or without a welder in the back. When the tractor was running I'd have to unhook the gooseneck in the drive then back it into its parking spot with the tractor. I didn't want to put knobbys on the truck that is meant for mostly hi-way and heavy loads. Will have to do something different next time to get the load hooked up.
Edit to say the clay does NOT help.
Nice thing is it's a standard, I've put it in 1st, got out and pushed while it spun tires.
